LONDON – Bangladesh strengthened its hold on the global denim trade in 2025, extending its lead in both the EU and US markets. Shipments to the two destinations topped roughly US$2.6bn, according to market data compiled from Eurostat and OTEXA. The figures point to Bangladesh widening its advantage in denim over major rival sourcing countries including Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam and Mexico.
