DHAKA – New figures show Bangladesh has regained its position as the second largest apparel exporter, earning US$1.94bn more than Vietnam in the first seven months of 2021. Figures from the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) show Bangladesh exported apparel products worth US$18.80bn during the period, compared to Vietnam’s US$16.86bn.
