TEXAS – Avalo says an independent life cycle assessment (LCA) found major emissions and water reductions from its first commercial cotton programme.
The US agri-biotech company uses artificial intelligence and genomic selection to breed climate-adapted crops. It said the cradle-to-gin gate assessment was carried out by Indigo Ag and covered cotton grown during its 2025 harvest in Texas.
