SYDNEY – Australia’s fashion industry has been told it has 12-months to improve its environmental performance or face Government regulation. The warning was sounded by Minister for Environment and Water, Tanya Plibersek, at the launch of a new voluntary scheme intended to reduce clothing waste, improve design and durability and boost recycling rates.
