LONDON – Fashion brands should stop chasing the lowest prices and tackle far bigger losses from overproduction, excess inventory and markdowns. This is the call from a new manifesto from the International Apparel Federation.
The IAF argues that fashion’s future competitiveness depends on moving away from lowest unit cost towards end-to-end productivity, smarter production planning and shared value across the supply chain.
