NEW YORK – The Bezos Earth Fund has announced US$34m in new grants to support the development of next-generation textile materials.
The funding will support scientific research into alternative fibres designed to replicate the look and performance of widely used materials such as rayon, silk and cotton, while aiming to cut the environmental impacts associated with conventional textile production.
