France moves to lift textile EPR crisis

PARIS – France is stepping up interventions in its crisis-hit textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system. The government says exceptional support for collection and sorting operators in the REP TLC scheme will rise to €268 per tonne in 2026, up from €228 per tonne. Ministers say the aim is to prevent insolvencies and protect national sorting capacity.
