BRUSSELS – EU-based industry groups are sounding the alarm over a growing push in several EU Member States to set up State-run Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) bodies. In a joint statement, they warn the shift could weaken how EPR schemes are governed. They also say it risks more fragmentation across the Single Market.
