PARIS – Impact data specialist Glimpact has launched a legal challenge against France’s new “environmental cost” label for clothing.
In an application to France’s highest administrative court, Glimpact seeks the annulment of Decree No. 2025-957 and the accompanying Order of 6 September 2025. These texts formalise the “Coût Environnemental” label for textile products and designate the state Ecobalyse platform as the sole tool for calculating and publishing the score.
