BEIJING – Shein has signed a deal with Lufthansa Cargo to look at ways to cut the carbon footprint of deliveries using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
Lufthansa Cargo will provide certificates verifying that SAF has been used, in theory documenting emission savings against conventional jet fuel. Shein described the deal as part of a “broader decarbonisation strategy” that also includes logistics optimisation and fleet efficiency.
