WASHINGTON – Several apparel brands have been linked through US shipping records to Vietnamese garment factories identified as receiving cotton from Chinese textile group Esquel.
Esqual is one of dozens of businesses which has been placed on a US forced-labour sanctions list for its links with Xinjiang cotton.
