PARIS – Axens, IFPEN and JEPLAN say they have validated a new textile-to-textile polyester recycling process at semi-industrial scale. The trio processed several tens of tonnes of post-consumer, polyester-rich European textile waste through a demonstration unit in Japan.
Axens is a French industrial technology company, IFPEN is a French public research body, while JEPLAN is a Japanese recycling company.
