STOCKHOLM – Swedish outdoor brand Peak Performance has unveiled a down anorak it claims can be dismantled and recycled at end of life. The R&D Helium Loop Anorak brings together Allied Feather + Down, NetPlus, Pertex and Resortecs to tackle a long standing problem for performance-wear.
Technical jackets that mix natural down, synthetics, zips and elastics are rarely recycled because separating components is slow and costly.
