HOUSTON – US outdoor brand, The North Face, has been called out for virtue signalling after it refused to provide an oil and gas business a batch products with its logo on. Adam Anderson, CEO of Innovex Downhole Solutions, has published an open letter to Steve Rendle, CEO of VF Corporation which owns the North Face brand.
Anderson clims his business contacted The North Face to enquire about buying jackets with the Innovex logo for all its employees as Christmas presents. The North Face told the company it would not sell them the jackets because they are an oil and gas company.
