SAN FRANCISCO – US denim giant Levi Strauss & Co has launched a programme that gives Indian suppliers free support to switch to renewable electricity. The initiative pairs Levi’s supply-chain reach with Schneider Electric’s advisory expertise. The LS&Co. Energy Accelerator Program (LEAP) provides, “in-depth training modules, financial analysis, and access to Schneider Electric’s advisory services, all at no cost,” said Jeffrey Hogue, chief sustainability officer at LS&Co.
