Lenzing cuts emissions as specialty fibre share hits 92 per cent

LENZING -Austrian fibre manufacturer Lenzing says its carbon emissions continued to fall significantly across its operations in 2025. The business has reported a 20 per cent reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and a 23 per cent cut in Scope 3 emissions against its 2021 baseline. It also reported a 48 per cent reduction in specific Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions versus 2017, as it pushed ahead with its net-zero strategy.
