GENEVA – A new study backed by UN Trade and Development has challenged claims that used clothing exports to Africa are largely made up of textile waste.
The report, produced through the Sustainable Manufacturing and Environmental Pollution programme in partnership with UN Trade and Development, analysed 244,500 garments imported into Uganda and Tanzania.
