WASHINGTON – Members of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), including The North Face, Columbia Sportswear and Patagonia have expressed dismay as the US begins its official withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord. The OIA claimed the move is “a recipe for disaster to outdoor recreation,” adding that the outdoor industry “knows only too well the negative impacts that the increasing rate of climate change is having on the land and water Americans recreate on.”
