BERLIN – A group of members from the German Partnership for Sustainable Textiles (Textilbuendnis) have called on the German Government to swiftly ratify Convention 190 of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on ending violence and harassment in the workplace. 33 members of the partnership have written to Federal Development Minister Svenja Schulze and Federal Minister of Labour Hubertus Heil in regards to the Convention, which highlights gender-based violence and harassment, and outlines specific requirements for companies.
Sympatex, Tchibo, Vaude, Aldi and Hugo Boss are among companies to sign the letter.
