LONDON – UK rockers The Rolling Stones have said they wish to terminate a licensing deal with fast fashion e-commerce company Shein because of allegations of labour abuses in Shein’s supply chains. It was only last week that Shein unveiled the latest range of clothing honouring the ‘Stones, including a line of T-shirts and merchandise that celebrated the rock group’s 60th anniversary. Prices started at around £1.50, a fact in itself that might have offered would-be merchandising partners an idea of the conditions in which this clothing was made.
