STOCKHOLM – Recycling technology business Renewcell will increase production capacity of Circulose from 60,000 to 120,000 metric tons ahead of schedule. Circulose is a branded ‘dissolving pulp’ product made from 100 per cent discarded cotton textiles. Renewcell has already signed deals with several leading fashion brands, including H&M, to provide Circulose for use in their fashion collections.
In its annual report, the company said it is also looking at options to bring forward the target of 360,000 metric tons capacity from 2030 to 2025. BNP Paribas and Carnegie have been retained by the company to explore financing options for this.
