SAN FRANCISCO – US outdoor apparel company Patagonia has partnered with Finnish textile recycling group Infinited Fiber Company for its regenerated textile fibre Infinna created out of textile waste. Patagonia will gain access to limited-supply fibre while securing future sales income for Infinited Fiber as it ramps up production.
Made from cellulose-rich waste like discarded textiles, used cardboard or even rice straw, it is claimed Infinna can also be blended with other fibres such as viscose.
