LONDON – New research by Changing Markets Foundation reveals a disconnect between fashion’s sustainability claims and targets, and the volume of fossil-fuel based synthetic fibres sourced. It reveals that, despite a plethora of ‘green’ claims, fashion brands show no signs of cutting their reliance on fossil fuel-based fibres or “showing credible action on climate.”
