STOCKHOLM – H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, and LSCS Invest have announced plans to invest €35m in a new demonstration plant which, it is claimed, dramatically slashes water, chemical and energy use in viscose production. The plant will be established at Stora Enso’s Nymölla mill in southern Sweden, and the construction will start in spring 2021. The production capacity will be 1,500 tons fibre per year.

Nymölla Mill is a pulp and paper mill that produces chemical pulp and wood-free uncoated paper. The mill is located in southern Sweden, in Bromölla municipality.
