NEW YORK – Poor purchasing practices by global fashion brands are making it virtually impossible for denim suppliers to implement effective ethical and sustainability policies. This is one finding from a survey of global denim suppliers. The survey found that far from improving, brand pricing and purchasing practices are deteriorating – despite a raft of industry initiatives claiming to be addressing these very issues.
