AMSTERDAM – Clean Clothes Campaign has launched a global week of action in which it is challenging H&M, Primark, and Nike to ensure full payment of wages in their supply chains. The NGO will stage actions in dozens of locations around the world in an attempt to “amplify the voices of workers whose wages were cut or jobs disappeared without compensation during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Clean Clothes is working with workers, trade unionists, and labour advocates to push brands and retailers to publicly ensure the workers who made their goods before the pandemic are paid their full wages or, if need be, the severance pay they are entitled to.
