LONDON – Fast fashion brand Boohoo was probed over claims that the employment contracts of its Leicester suppliers amount to modern slavery in a debate organised by the UK Government’s Environmental Audit Committee. Andrew Reaney, Boohoo’s group director of responsible sourcing, was questioned by Claudia Webbe MP, Member of Parliament for Leicester East, during an evidence session which revisited aspects of a predecessor Committee’s report into fast fashion in 2019.
