COPENHAGEN – The owner of Danish fashion retailer Bestseller, which is refusing to pay supplier bills and has been demanding huge discounts for completed orders, has entered the UK’s Sunday Times Rich list for the first time.
Anders Holch Povlsen has a net worth of £4.73bn according to the list – placing him at number 26 on the list and making him the only new entrant in the top 50. Poylsen is a Danish billionaire who is the CEO and sole owner of the international clothing chain Bestseller, a company founded by his parents.
