SYDNEY – The Australian cotton sector will develop a new strategic roadmap over the next 12-months with traceability and sustainability two of five key focus areas. The roadmap is being developed by Cotton Australia, Australian Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA) and the Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC).
The new strategy is being produced in response to the evolving fashion landscape where there is heightened scrutiny on environmental and social issues in textile supply chains.
