LONDON – Online fashion retailer Asos has announced a joint venture with US department store chain Nordstrom that will see Topshop clothing sold in Nordstrom’s 350 stores as well as on its website. Nordstrom is taking a minority stake in the Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and activewear HIIT brands for an undisclosed sum as part of the deal. Asos purchased these brands in March after the collapse of Arcadia.
